

Elmer was raised in Parker, Wash. and graduated from Wapato High School in 1953. In 1956 he joined the U.S. Air Force. During his tour in Japan, he met and married Kyoko Sato. They had a daughter and four sons. In 1977 he retired at Vandenberg, A.F.B. Calif. Elmer returned to the Yakima Valley and worked for DSHS for four years.
At age 48, he retired early to enjoy the pleasures of fishing and the outdoors which became his passion especially with his family and friends. He would spend weeks at the river banks fishing for Steelhead and Salmon. Elmer was a devoted father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed and remembered for his generous and forgiving nature.
Elmer is survived by his four sons, Jamie Frazier of Kennewick, WA; Michael, Leon and Dominic (Leona) Frazier all of Yakima; one brother, Ralph (Bobbie) Frazier of Moxee also numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kiyoko Sato (Frazier); daughter, Rita Kiyoko Frazier; mother, Elva Marie Frazier; father, Loren Ralph Frazier and nephew, Ralph Loren Frazier, Jr.
Visitation will be 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 4, 2011 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5th, at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 W. Yakima Avenue. Burial will follow at Tahoma Cemetery.
