Ester Van Horn

Ester Van Horn was born in Lake Providence, LA June 7, 1951 and passed away May 4th, 2014. She is survived by her husband Emery Van Horn, and three sons: Wayne J. Sowell, (Dawn), Roy Van Horn, Clinton Van Horn (Tori). She also had 9 grandchildren: Melissa Van Horn, Marcus Lister, Jackie Lister, Ashlan Sowell, Riley Sowell, Breidan Sowell, D.J. Sowell, C.J. Van Horn and Adriana Van Horn.

She had four living brothers and four sisters: Terrell McCart, Cebe McCart, Lynn McCart, Henry Merrll McCart Jr., Jackie Coman, Ella Morse, Yvonne Lajoy and Diane McCart. She had numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She liked traveling and loved the Oregon Coast. She loved to spend time with the grandkids especially during the holidays. She enjoyed going to a restaurant or movie with a friend or an occasional trip to a casino. She also loved fishing and riding on the back of the Harley at a moments notice. In the quite times, she enjoyed reading mystery books.

Thank you for the love and support from her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Cheryl Jensen during the hard times.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
