Federico was born on December 5, 1951 to Nicolas and Elipidia Peña in Union de Guadalupe Jalisco, Mexico. He migrated with his family to the United States in 1963.
In 1981 his life was forever changed when he heard the good news and he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. In 1982 he met and married his wife, Martha. In 1983 they welcomed identical twin girls. Federico, in search of a better life for his little family, moved to Toppenish, Washington. He added his last daughter to his family in 1991. Federico deeply loved his family. He dedicated his life to be a devoted family man and a great provider. He made it his life’s mission to live his life for Christ. He took this role very seriously and felt called to help those in need. Through evangelism, hundreds of people internationally and domestically accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
The last twenty years of his life he dedicated to missionary work. He founded, built, and raised a church in Veracruz, Mexico and began to raise a church in Durango, Mexico. Sadly, Federico’s race here on earth ended before the beloved church could be completed.
He is survived by his devoted wife Martha, and his children; Abigail (Angel) Cruz, Aimee Peña, and Dolly Peña. The apple of his eye were his grandchildren who will deeply miss him; Elias, Elliana, Everly, Angel and Juliana.
He is predeceased by multiple family members and several Brothers and Sister’s in Christ, who together, are rejoicing in heaven with Jesus.
In lieu of flowers we ask in Federico’s honor that funds and donations be made to the completion of Puerta Del Cielo Church in Durango, Mexico.
