George E Johnson

Dad was born February 17, 1930 to Margaret and Leonard Johnson at Tieton. He lived in the Naches area his whole life.

Dad was a wheat farmer and an avid fisherman. He never knew a stranger and was friends with everyone.

Dad was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for more than 60 years.

Dad was a loving grandfather to all his grandchildren. He had a special bond with Vernée and Frank who had lived with him.

George was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jan, of fifty years, and his grandson Kevin.

Dad is survived by his daughters Sabrina, Kathy (Ted), Vickie (David), and Kelly Ann (Larry), grandchildren Kenneth, Amber, Kathy, Chad, Kenny, Jason, Jasmine, Vernée, and Frank, fifteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

We would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Good Samaritan.

Per dad’s request, there will be no formal service. A family gathering will be held at a later time.
