
September 7, 2011. She was born January 17, 1921 in Globe, WA.
She spent her early years on her grandmother’s farm in Frances, WA
until she moved to Aberdeen, WA.
She worked in the strawberry fields in Puyallup, WA and then in
the cranberry bogs on the coast of Washington.
When she was 22 she worked with her mother at the
Aberdeen Chair Factory and later at Boeings.
She married Phil Kidder in 1940 and they had one daughter, Susan Kidder.
Phil and his mother were killed in a tragic car accident in 1948.
Later she married Wally Olson and the family moved to Yakima where
she became a full time housewife. Jeri loved to cook and work in her yard, priding herself on the beautiful roses and rhododendrons that she grew.
Jeri is preceded in death by her mother Agnes Tiefenthaler,
husbands Phil Kidder and Wally Olson.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Carner and step-son Gary Olson,
three granddaughters, Lisa Dailey, Aimee Owen, and Karin Kasinger,
and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel
on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
