Gerlinde Maria Adams

Gerlinde Maria, the daughter of Erwin and Marie (Pesold) Ebert, was born on October 31, 1936, in Erlagen, Germany. Following her education, Gerlinde was united in marriage to Vernon Adams, a United States soldier, in September of 1959. They later moved to the United States in 1960 and were blessed with five children prior to his passing in March of 1980. Gerlinde resided in Arizona prior to moving to Regina Senior Living in 2014 to be near her daughter, Linde.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her son-in-law, Gary Shelton.

Gerlinde is survived by her children, Fredrich Adams, William (Laurie) Adams, Shirley Shelton, Verna Adams, and Linde (Ken) Raway; grandchildren: Jason & (Becky) Shelton, Adam & (Elva) Shelton, Lindsey & (Ian) Ring, Kenneth (Emily) Raway, and Christopher (Emily) Raway, Derrick Stephenson, Nicholas & (Nicole) Stephenson; great grandchildren: Lillian, Peter, Lauren Shelton, Quentin Shelton, Dexter & Harper Ring, Lincoln, Deegan, Zephyr Stephenson, Liam Stephenson, Jackson, and Joseph Raway; siblings: Karl, Ingeborg, and Herbert (Germany); and by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Gerlinde’s Life is scheduled for 10 am, Friday, February 23, 2018, at Rainier Memorial Center, 2807 Terrace Heights Drive, Yakima, WA. Inurnment will follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
