Gloria Mae Burns

Gloria was born December 5, 1921 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Frank and Laura Behrman. She was raised and educated in the San Francisco Bay area and graduated from Alameda High School. She attended Merritt Business School, Turner Art School, and San Jose State College. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a secretary. On June 27, 1948 she married Francis J. Burns in Carmel, California.

She is survived by her son Craig Burns of Salem, Oregon; grandson Matthew Burns of Oregon; nephew Douglas Franklin of Seattle and nieces Jeanne and Sandi Franklin both of Seattle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis in 1994, two brothers, Frank Behrman Robert Behrman and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, if desired, memorials be made to your favorite charity. At her request private services will be held. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
