

Gordon Olson was born to Edward and Hulda Olson on August 8, 1919 in Cass Lake, MN. He was raised in Cass Lake, helping run the family store. After schooling he moved west to Seattle where he found work in a sawmill. In March of 1944 thru 1946 he was in the U.S. Navy. He came back to Seattle to the sawmill and became a superintendent.
Gordon enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his dog, Queen and his buddy, Jake. Oly was stubborn and cranky, but sharp as a tack till his last day.
Survivors include his son, Russell Olson; daughter, Kay Olson; a granddaughter, Alissa Jarded and two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Trenton.
He will be greatly missed, by his family and friends. We love you “Oly”.
