I worked with Gregg at Sony, VES and NBC. Not only was he a natural teacher, he was a good friend too. Gregg, you will be missed.

Gregg is one of the few individuals I ever worked with that also truly became a dear friend.  His dedication to his career and profession was second to none.  I met Gregg at Ascent Media and then later we were both associated with DIRECTV.  His integrity was unquestioned.  I respected Gregg as a peer, an associate and most dearly, a true and devoted friend.  Gregg, I will truly miss you.  I know you have gone home and Jesus will find something for you to keep you busy.  Bye my friend.

 I met Greg in the mid 80's when he was giving Sony training at KIMA.  I was from Montana and had a cap with a MT highway patrol emblem on it, he liked it so I picked one up for him.  The next time I saw him he told the story he had been to, not sure, Jersy or Chicago or New York and was walking around one evening.  There were some unruly looking characters aproaching him.  When they saw the emblem on his hat they walked away.  Just wanted to share a funny story.

What a wonderful amazing man.  God be with you.

What's up buttercup... I am really going to miss hearing those words! Gregg was a wonderful person who brought sunshine to any room.  I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Gregg and be part of his life the years he worked for DIRECTV.

This man is my father.  As all fathers I don't think he ever felt felt he lived up to his own expectations.  But I do.  I do because he thought me, among many other things, how to value the real worth of a person, in spite of our shortcomings.  The good he has been to my life allows me to be who I am, which is all my father every wanted me to be. Thank you dad, You made this charlie brown be the good kid he is.  And now, what ever you may be doing, I know your still "Just Ducky"  the love of your son, jayson

Dad always supported my brother & I in whatever we wanted to do.  He just wanted us to be happy & the best us we could possibly be.  He would spend time with each of us one on one and the occasional "Sunday drive" sometimes became an adventure in itself because there was never a destination, just a road to drive on until he decided (or the family made him) turn around.  He was always willing to stop and check out those signposts along the road so I could find out what was so important about the place to warrant a marker.

Dad loved history and knew a lot about a lot (except sports).  You always learned something new from him and he loved sharing his knowledge with others.  He instilled in both me and Jay a love of reading and knowledge. He really should have been a college history professor.

I think Dad would tell us, "I'm just ducky, so go live your life and be happy." 

I love you dad & will miss you and I know you will never be far away.

I was working in IRM at DirecTV Castle Rock when I met Gregg in person.  He just wanted to thank me for "all you do".  And it really wasn't much - just all in a day's work, you know?  But still, he made the effort to stop by my office to say those very gracious words.  And I know, through talking to him several times by phone and in person, and from the sentiments shared by many co-workers who knew him better than me, that that's just the way he was. He was a day brightener. 

Gregg was a genuinely nice, genuinely good guy.  And we're all going to miss him.
