She was born May 20, 1927 in Peoria, Illinois.
After graduation she met her future husband, Al Wilson on a bus in Seattle. Three months later after Dad was out at of the service he returned to find Mom working at Bell-Telephone as an operator in May of 1946. They were married in June 1947, the first of 4 boys were born, Al Joe then Roscoe, Paul and Wyatt who was conceived after Dad had Polio, because the doctor said this would be a perfect time to try for a girl! Harriett and Al were married 62 years.
Mom always worked hard to provide for the family. She picked potato’s, painted houses, packed fruit & asparagus, hunted, fished, dug clams and canned. Mom loved her 5th sons, her pets and the outdoors. She loved to motorhome, jeep and horseback ride.
Mom spent her last 4 years at Angel House; they provided the constant love and care that we could not. She was surrounded by family her last days.
We will miss Mom, until we meet again in Heaven! Love Your Family.
A Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at West Hills Memorial Park.
