Harvey James Ferguson

Our beloved one, Harvey James Ferguson has gone fishing for the last time with his Lord by his side. H.J. passed on July 25, 2021. He was born on September 5, 1949 to Ruth W. Shroyer and Merle Ralph Ferguson in Geneva, Ohio.

H.J. was raised and educated in Yakima, WA and lived the last 25 years of his life in Chehalis, WA. H.J’s love in life was fishing. He was a finished carpenter by trade and a very talented natural born artist.

H.J. is survived by two daughters, Sharon Rehfield and husband Shawn of Yakima, Deanna Ferguson and husband Justin; three brothers, Merle Ferguson, Randy Ferguson and wife Carol, Ken Shroyer and wife Vickie; a sister, Ruth (Sissy) Ferguson Church; five grand-children, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous fishing buddies and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Curtis Michael Rehfield and a baby sister.

Services will be held August 19, 2021 at 1:00pm at Keith and Keith Funeral Home in Yakima.
