Ida Belle Harvey, 101, passed away Dec. 3, 2019. Ida was born to Arthur and Kate Fogle in Wilmot, Kansas, then moved to Arkansas before she was one year old. In 1939 she moved to Arizona where she met and married her first husband A.L. Armstrong and had two children, Dale Edward Armstrong and Thelma Lee Armstrong-Burns. Divorced 1943. Met and married her second husband Arthur (Art) Calvin Harvey in 1944 and had two children, Raymond Victor Harvey and (Anna) Louise Harvey-Boyd. Ida was a housewife, Cub Scout Den Mother, Brownie Scout leader, Sunday school teacher and cook. Upon retirement, she and her husband Art did a lot of traveling, camping and fishing. Widowed in 1983 she kept herself busy with volunteer work, working with Salvation Army and clothing bank in Selah and made doll clothes and blankets for children, and was a member of Selah Covenant Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and reading, and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Ida was preceded in death by her husband Art Harvey, daughter (Anna) Louise Harvey-Boyd, son in law Jesse Burns and grandson Timothy Burns. She is survived by son Raymond (Deb) Harvey, daughter Thelma Armstrong-Burns, son in law George (Louise) Boyd, grandchildren Shannon (Robert) Jones, David (Stephanie) Boyd, Scott (Jill) Boyd, Patrick (Safauna) Harvey, and Kevin (Rebekah) Boyd and great-grandchildren Mikayla, Jordyn, Haylee, Kalei, Adalynn, Samuel, Hannah, Gavin, Logan, Corwin and a baby due in February.
