Jack Floyd Fear, age 86, passed peacefully from this life into the next on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Jack was born on January 24, 1928 in Clinton, Oklahoma, the twelfth of James Nelson and Ida May Winn Fear's fourteen children. Jack was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jack and Mary were married September 25, 1948 and later sealed in the Oakland LDS temple. We will greatly miss you Grandpa, but we are so excited to know your spirit is finally free of your restricted physical body! Although he has passed on, his legacy will live on in those he loved the most, his family!
Jack is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Mary Lou, his two sons; J.R. (Janie) of Sacramento, Ca. and Joe (Liz) of Yakima and his two daughters; Marilyn (Mark Morrill) of Ellensburg and Marjorie (Roger Beckman) of Yakima. Jack was grandpa to 26 grandchildren and 92 great grandchildren, with two more on the way. Our family cannot find words to express the love and care shown for Grandpa while he was living at Apple Creek care center. Thank you for making him one of your family! Also, we wish to express our gratitude to Memorial Hospice and their caring workers who were with us to the end.
Jack's celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 20th at 10 am at the LDS 1st Ward Chapel on 36thand Tieton. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the general missionary fund. Arrangements are in the care of Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.
