

Jack was born on June 5, 1923, in Virginia, Minnesota to Hattie and James Widmyer. He served in the Navy for a short time in the early 1940s.
Jack’s first marriage was to Reba Adams and they had 4 daughters. His second marriage was to Marylee Morris. They were married by Rev. James Layne on June 1, 1957, at the Assembly of God Church in Naches, Washington. Together they had a son and daughter.
Jack attended Perry Trade Institute, where he specialized in Refrigeration, though he was a Jack of all Trades and could fix almost anything. For eight years, he drove school bus for the Naches School District. And for 20 years, until retirement, he worked in Maintenance for the Yakima School District.
He loved God and attended the Bethel Community Church in Naches Heights.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Carolyn Sears of Yakima; and his siblings; Irene Widmyer, Hannah Wolfe, Mabel Erickson, Deloris Burkhart, and Morris Widmyer.
Jack is survived by his wife, Marylee Widmyer of Naches; and by his 6 children, JoAnne Widmyer of Yakima; Joyce Fitzpatrick (Mike) of Yakima; Alta Patrick of Roseville, CA; David Widmyer (Brenda) of Yakima; Nila McCoy (Tom) of Yakima, 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers; Eugene Widmyer of Stillwater, Minn.; Gerald Trudell of Lexington, S. C.; and Robert Trudell of Yuba City CA.
