

extended illness. Jim was born May 27, 1944 to Berria and Lucille (Rodgers) Riddle in Marion County,
Arkansas. He moved as a young child to the Yakima Valley.
Jim graduated from West Valley High School class of 1962. Later, he joined and served in the National Guard
until the late 1960’s. In 1966 he met and married Darlene Radosevich, settling in the Ahtanum area where he
worked many years for Harris Farms. They moved to Hawaii in 1981where he drilled water wells on several of
the islands. In 1989, Jim and Darlene moved back to Yakima, where Jim began his own well drilling and pump
business. He worked and assisted others until ill health forced him to retire in 2006.
Jim always took pride in his work and you could always depend on him. He loved his wife, his “park” at
home and his animals. Over the years Jim thoroughly enjoyed jeeping, horseback riding, snowmobiling and
motorcycling.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 44 years, as well as his extended family and many friends.
Jim is survived by his wife, Darlene Riddle of Yakima; sister, Margaret Stillwaugh of Denton, Texas and
numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Park Riddle, and sister, Peggy
Schlepp.
