Jane Carol Hudspeth

Jane Carol Hudspeth, 66, passed away on April 12, 2012. She was born and raised on her parent's apple farm in Naches Heights, attending Highland High School and Washington State University. Jane was a school teacher in the Highland District for 30 years. She had a passion for teaching and watching her students grow in the community.

Jane's greatest enjoyment was her two grandchildren, Grayson and Evan, and taking them on trips to the Washington and Oregon coasts.

Jane leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Victoria Ferreira, two grandsons Grayson and Evan Ferreira, niece and husband Kathy and Kevin Naught, nephew and wife Matt and Angela Bona, and brother-in-law Dick Bona.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Ruth Hudspeth (Adams), sister Joan Bona, son Aaron Briggs, niece Amy Bona and aunt Pauline Gregory.

Jane would like to give special thanks to all of her close friends and family who gave her such joy and comfort throughout her life. She and her family would like to thank Yakima Memorial Hospice, Washington Hematology-Oncology, and Englewood Heights for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Hospital in Seattle or the American Cancer Society.
