

Jeanne attended St. Joseph’s High School in Yakima and on November 7, 1950 married Joseph Favilla. Together they raised a family of six children on their hop farm outside of Harrah, Washington. After raising hops for 20 years, Jeanne and Joe raised Angus cattle until their retirement in 1995. Jeanne was involved in the 4-H program with her children, was an award winning cook and a master gardener. Jeanne was known for her always beautiful flowers. She was also a member of the Yakima Valley Angus Association and the Sorrell Club. Jeanne, in addition, had a love for animals and always had a special house cat.
Survivors include her sons Patrick (Diane) Favilla; Robert (Sabrina) Favilla, both of Wapato; and Edward (Carole) Favilla of Renton, Washington; daughters Theresa Longmeire of Benton City, Washington; and Nancy (Michael) Kagan of Odessa, Florida.; sister Rosemary (Warren) Noel of Yakima and Frankie (Ben) Huck of Tieton; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Alice Perrault; husband Joseph Favilla; son Dennis Favilla; brother Richard Perrault; sisters Beatrice Noel and Maxine Blanc.
A special thank you to daughter-in-law Sabrina Favilla for her love and support during Jeanne’s final years. A thank you also to Good Samaritan Health Care Center for their service, care, and compassion. Jeanne will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2010 at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home with a vigil at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00 at Holy Family Chapel with a private family burial at Reservation Community Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Humane Society of Yakima County.
