Jerry Morgan Horn

Jerry, 83, passed away quietly on May 7th 2026 at Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA. He was born May 14, 1942 in Seattle, WA to Helmer Tory Horn and Corrine Antoinette Hanson and was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Evelyn Horn and his sister Janet.

Jerry leaves his children Cindy Lou (Horn) Gibbs and her husband Darren Michael Gibbs of Albany, son Michael Tory Horntvedt and his wife Joy Ann (Higman) Horntvedt of Olalla, WA, step daughter Annette Elaine (Wagner) Dickson and her husband Charles Randy Dickson of Meacham OR; step daughter Jeannine Raennette (Wagner) Hunt of Kenai, AK; step son John Robert Wagner and his wife Julia Irene (Boushey) Wagner of Grass Valley, CA; step daughter Trisha Anne (Wagner) Hattery.

Jerry went to school in Seattle WA and worked most of his career at NC Machinery, but also as a real estate agent, 2nd Hand Store owner, even as sales for a Marine Supply company.

Jerry enjoyed cars. Old cars, new cars, Lincoln Continentals, four wheel drive, and Rusty Relics. He enjoyed his amateur radio hobby because he met new people, he could play around with all the variables to get a better signal, and he liked staying connected. Jerry also like to learn about different cities across the west and if it was on a back road it was even better. Jerry will be missed.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:30AM, Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Hillcrest East Cemetery, across the street from 600 South 12th Street, La Grande, Oregon. Afterwards we will meet up at City Hall, Island City 10605 Island Avenue, Island City.
