He will forever be remembered as not only one of the hardest workers you’d ever meet, a jokester that liked to kid about anything, but also as an honest, gentle, man that would bend over backwards for anyone – he had an amazingly large heart that was shared by all those who knew him.
For fun, he enjoyed doing anything outdoors, surfing Craigslist, and spending time with his family.
Born to Edna and Harvey Osborne in Ashe County, North Carolina, he is survived by his kids, Micheal Osborne, Tami Miller, Jeff and Beth Layman, Scott and Robin Layman, Shannon and Eric Rone; 14 grandkids; 7 great grandkids; siblings Shirley and Art Danner, Bill and Gaye Osborne and many friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife of 31 years, Bobi Osborne; daughter Tina Hartley, brother Clarence Osborne, sister Betty Jo Elliott, and brother-in-law Reese Elliott.
There will be a Celebration of Life held Saturday, November 21st, 2015 at 2 pm at the Yakima Area Arboretum. He will be forever in our hearts.
