Mr. Carmichael was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Carmichael George and Janet Krieger, both of Yakima; a son, Cody Carmichael of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Jim Carmichael and Ken Carmichae; three sisters, jane Smith, Carol Wright and Vergie Riedt; five grandchidren and four great-grandchildren.
A private memorial in the mountains is planned. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima.
