Johnny, C. Roberts, 79 of Union Gap passed away on December 24, 2013 at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.
Johnny was born in Fort Scott, Kansas to Roy and Josephine (Floyd) Roberts on November 15, 1934.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War achieving the rank of Seaman First Class before being honorably discharged. After that, Johnny spent most of his working career as a truck driver for the Burlington Northern Railroad.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Roy Joe Roberts, and Billy Roberts; and sisters Caroline Roberts, and Marilyn Roberts.
Survivors include his sons Duane Roberts and Darrell (Bonnie) Roberts; daughter Julie Roberts; and a sister Peggy Swart. Johnny is also survived by four grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013, at Rainier Memorial Center, 2807 Terrace Heights Dr., Yakima.
