He was an amazing husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle. He was loved by all and respected by those whose lives he touched. He loved his family and always took the time to sit down and visit with them.
Joe was born in Arkansas, and moved to the Yakima area as a young man. He worked for many years at the local golf courses in town as a landscaper. He continued his love for the outdoors by having his own landscaping business until he retired.
Joe belonged to Terrace Heights Baptist Church where he was a charter member and deacon. His biggest joy was witnessing and leading others to the Lord. His church family was a very important part of his life and he made wonderful memories there.
He is survived by his loving wife Diane, son Ed (Cathe) son Danny, daughter Danna (Dan), daughter Darci (Mason) seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, James (Bettv), brother Kenneth (ldalee), sister Maryline, sister Charlotte (Gary), as well as many nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Veda, brothers, Carl and Bob, sister Pauline, and grandsons James and Josh.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at Terrace Heights Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 27th at 11:30 a.m.
