Judy Ann Goodwin
February 2, 1950 – January 27, 2019
Judy Ann (Brule) Goodwin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to so many, died January 27, 2019, due to ongoing medical complications.
Judy was preceded in death by Albert & Alice Brule of Yakima. She was born February 2, 1950 in Yakima, Washington. Judy was married to the love of her life, Gary Goodwin, and is survived by her daughter Michelle, granddaughter Roslyn, twin grandsons Todd and Connor, brothers Wayne and Larry Brule, numerous cousins, nieces and nephew.
Judy graduated from Davis High school in 1968, attended Yakima Business College and worked for a law firm in Yakima. In 1970 she was hired by Continental Airlines as a hostess enjoying her flying career around the world. In 1978 she met her husband Gary in Guam as they both were under contract with Continental flying and working for Air Micronesia.
They married in 1979 and they traveled around the world. Judy loved quilting and made many quilts in our homes for the past 40 years. After living in Normandy Park for 30 years, they retired in 2012, traveled in their motor coach for a couple years and built a home in Sequim/Port Angeles on the Straits of Juan de Fuca.
Judy loved her family and looked forward to spending time with them, she also loved getting together with her old flightbag babes for monthly dinner get togethers, quilting retreats and weekly coffee/latte sessions. Judy loved her grandchildren, was very quick-witted, her bright smile will be missed.
There will be a celebration of life Saturday March 16th at their home in Port Angeles/Sequim. A graveside Funeral is set for February 16th at 11:00 am at Terrace Heights Memorial Park with Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sjogrens Syndrome/Arthritis Foundation of Seattle.

So many memories to share and I'm limited to 2,000 characters? Oh boy. Where do I start? The many, many games of Crazy Cat Lady with Roslyn, dressing up in Mardi Gras garb for my last chemo appointment and being my caretaker during that entire time. You were the most caring person I knew and I will miss you terribly. And, that smile! Unforgettable. I will remember your mixing up song lyrics and proudly singing through two completely different songs and not realizing it. Or, thinking Angelina Jolie was a singer because she had full lips. LOL, Judy!! Talented quilter, too!
