June Elizabeth Strong

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of June Elizabeth Strong on June 21, 2026, at the age of 97, having been born on November 5, 1928 in Hamtramck, Michigan. She is survived by her three children, Sheryl Loraine Pratt, Michael Blair Strong, and Mark Aaron Strong, two daughters-in-law Martha Briggs and Doris Strong, as well as six grand children David William Pratt, Dawn Michelle Pratt, Jonathan Lloyd Strong, Cara Elizabeth Strong, Emily Jean Strong, and Kathryn Marie Strong. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty six years, Lloyd Strong and son-in law Joseph Pratt.

In addition to her family, June enjoyed many things in life. She loved gardening, traveling, and playing board games and could often be found doing one of those favorite things in life. She was also an achiever, earning academic accolades for her scholastic achievements graduating from Hamtramck High School and the University of Detroit with straight As in every class she took in those institutions. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration while attending the University of Detroit and graduated Summa Cum Laude in her class. She eventually landed a job at Ford Motor Company where she enjoyed a highly successful career for or over thirty years.

June will be sorely missed by the many friends and family she leaves behind. She will be remembered for her boundless love for her family and friends and her dedication to excellence in all that she did. A private memorial service will be held for family in the near future. Flowers are welcome can be left on her porch at her home for those who would like to honor her. In lieu of flowers June would appreciate

donating to any charity for cancer research.
