My parents were neighbors of Ed and  Ruth.  They thought so highly of Karen that when I was born they named me Karen.  I believe she babysat my older brother and sister.  I always heard what a wonderful young woman she was. It sounds like she continued to be amazing her entire life. I am sorry for your loss.

I met Mrs. Cameron as a race parent of buddy Warner racer Jenny. Jenny and I became good friends and always included me as one of her own. Generously hosting me whether at the condos at white pass, in Sun Valley, or at their cabin at Lake Chelan. 
Memories- (scary) my folks and I were visiting the Cameron’s at lake chelan and we took our boat to town, coming back we got caught in a storm and the boat almost sunk on the way back , having to tie it up to someone else’s dock and walk back the rest of the way. We were drenched, cold and exhausted. We all survived but memories remain all we can do now is laugh about those moments.
