Karen Marlene Guenther

After a battle with cancer, Karen Marlene Guenther, 73, went to her Savior in heaven on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was born in San Francisco, CA on July 12, 1943 to Harold N. and Gertrude Keith. Karen married William Guenther on June 20, 1964 in Yakima, WA. Together they raised their three children. Karen worked at KUTI/KXDD Radio for over twenty years. During retirement, she loved to travel and she absolutely delighted in her family. Karen was one of the kindest people on earth truly cherished by many people.

Karen is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill Guenther; her three children: Heidi (Hershel) Wood, Keith (Micki) Guenther and Paul Guenther; four grandchildren: Zachary (Kathryn), Lindsey, Jeremiah and Sammy , great-grandsons Finley and Soren. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son Andrew, brother Allan Keith and sister Margo Hassen.

A Memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 1207 S. 7th Ave., Yakima on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
