Karl E. “Butch” Dunsing, 74, died at his home in Yakima on Monday, June 10, 2013.
He was born in San Francisco, California on August 8, 1938 to Carl Thomas Dunsing and Hazel Ann (Davis) Dunsing. Butch worked in various construction jobs. He moved to Yakima in 1978 and worked at Valley Evaporating in the Engineers department followed by 13 years as chief maintenance for G & F. Investments. From there he worked for Marq Packaging in their maintenance department until he retired in 2004.
He is survived by a son Scott H. Dunsing of Omaha, NE and a daughter Heather Ann Thiessen of Vancouver, WA; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Baney of Waterford, PA; one step brother, Erwin “Sonny” Seidschlaw of Las Vegas, NV and a half sister, Mary Jury.
A memorial service will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 W. Yakima Ave. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:00. Private inurnment will be at West Hills Memorial Park. Keith & Keith Funeral Home are entrusted with arrangements.
