Kathleen D. Burns

Kathy moved to the Yakima area with her family at the age of two. She worked in the finance departments at St Elizabeth/Providence Medical Center until her retirement. During her career Kathy helped thousands of people in the Yakima community when they were in need of healthcare.

She enjoyed going to the mountains with her husband, cooking large family dinners and spending time with her grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her son, Michael (Carla) Burns of Yakima; daughters, Jill (Brian) Davison of Yakima and Debra Kerr of Victoria, B.C.; brothers, Lonnie (Amelia) Epperson of Yakima and Daren Staudinger of San Diego, CA; sister, Beverly Landecker of Minneapolis, MN: also grandchildren, Adam and Amy Kerr; Lauren and Eric Burns; Josh and Jenna Davison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Burns.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, Yakima.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy’s name to Union Gospel Mission or Special
