

YAKIMA - Kathleen Mildred Davison Streeter died in her sleep at Landmark Care Center on December 24, 2011. She joins her beloved husband of 70 years Jesse Louis Streeter, her mother Lola Ethel Davison Mustard, her father Eldon Thomas Davison; brothers Victor, Warren and Dean Davison and sister Luella Streeter in heaven. She leaves behind one sister, Erma Jean Bushue of Gresham, Oregon/Mesa, Arizona; six children: Shirley Norlem (Mogens) of Annapolis, Maryland, Donald Streeter (Carol) of Apache Junction, Arizona, Janet Oliphant (Dwayne), of Yakima, Washington, Tom Streeter (June) of Hertford, North Carolina, Lola Bruner of Silverdale, Washington and Nancy Vaughn of McCleary, Washington. Kathleen also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Kathleen was born on January 8, 1922 in Topeka, Kansas.
She and Jesse with six youngsters in tow left Kansas in 1949 to settle in Washington State. They lived in Silverdale, Bremerton, Aberdeen, Vancouver and Yakima. Kathleen was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, and home maker, although she did for a few years own Kathleen’s Old Glass and Brass in Vancouver. The shop evolved from her love of collecting depression glass. She also liked to quilt, grow Bonsai and do jig saw puzzles. Her passion
was reading. She also enjoyed travel and visited family in Maryland and Copenhagen.
She suffered with osteoarthritis for years and wants those she left behind not to cry for her, for she is in peace and pain free at last.
Visitation will be held Thursday December 29, 2011 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday December 30, 2011 at 2 PM in the Keith & Keith Terrace Heights Chapel. Concluding services and burial to follow in the Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
