

As a child, Keith was very active in Boy Scouts. In junior and senior high school, he enjoyed snow and water skiing, wrestling, football, baseball, and tennis. The family settled in Yakima in 1975. Keith was enrolled at Carroll High School in 9th grade, graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1979 and graduated from Yakima Valley Community College. Keith married Geralyn (Lynn) Harris on June 16, 1989. Keith was a hard worker and a detailed craftsman. He established Sunshine Painting in the early 1990s and took great pride in his work. Keith enjoyed coaching his daughters’ sports teams, camping with his family, vacations at the beach and spending time with his pets Charlie, Lucky, Little Ella, and Penny. He had a passion for helping others who had a need.
Keith is survived by his wife Lynn and their daughters Catherine (Katie) McVicker and Alise (Lisa) McVicker; his brothers Bruce McVicker and Kevin McVicker; his sister Tina Wayne and her husband Jeff; and his father Charles McVicker and his wife Becky. Keith is also survived by many nieces and nephews: Ariel and Miranda McVicker, Hailey and Bryon Wayne, David, Andrew, Nicholas and Ethan Dufault, Christopher, Megan, Tyler, Hannah and Brittney Melberg, Jennifer, Benjamin and Matthew Rowell, and Shelbi and Anna Hogenson. He is also survived by close friends Jeremy Brachtenbach and Jose Villegaz. Keith’s beloved mother, Nannette Hood McVicker, and his baby Jamie preceded him in death.
