Ken worked in the auto parts industry for 30 years. For the last 20 years, Ken ran a plumbing and excavating business: Absolute Drain & Septic and Action Rooter & Plumbing. Ken served in the U. S. Army.
He enjoyed fishing, going to casinos and the Seahawks. He loved his dogs, too.
Ken was a philanthropist. According to his children, he was the most giving person they ever knew.
Ken is survived by his daughter Lana Church-Hayes and sons Brian (Becky) Church and Don (Lashel) Church; eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; brothers Von, Gene and Jim Church and their families.
There will be a Celebration of Ken’s life April 1, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 307 W. Chestnut Avenue, Yakima, WA with a potluck and no-host bar.
