Kenneth Eugene Noel

Kenneth Eugene Noel, 62, of Yakima, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, in Yakima, with his loving mother by his side holding his hand and Alice his wife and brother-in-law Jonathon who was not only a dear friend but also his caregiver.

Ken was born on March 2, 1964, in Yakima, Washington, to Karen and Paul Noel. He was raised in Yakima and attended Nob Hill Elementary, Wilson Middle School, Eisenhower High School, and later Perry Technical Institute.

Throughout his career, Ken worked at Bill McCurley's Auto and Comet Trailers. While he was dedicated to his work, his greatest passion was automotive mechanics. He loved working on vehicles, solving mechanical problems, and sharing his knowledge with others. He was also an avid PC gamer, a hobby that brought him countless hours of enjoyment and created lasting memories with family and friends, his son, Jeremy, and his nephews Mark and Ben.

Ken had a deep love for animals and cherished his three dogs—Shannon, Muffin, and Trixie. Trixie was his constant travel companion and was rarely far from his side, often riding happily in his lap wherever the road led.

To his nephews, Mark and Benjamin, Ken was more than an uncle—he was a reminder that growing older never meant giving up the joy of being a kid at heart. He taught them that life didn't have to become rigid or joyless as an adult. Instead, he encouraged them to laugh often, find happiness in the little things, and never lose their sense of wonder. Those lessons, along with his love of PC gaming, were gifts he shared with friends and family.

Kenneth had a song that he said depicted his life and that was sang by Frank Sinatra it was "My Way". He said anyone who wanted to know what he thought of his life should listen to this song.

Ken was blessed with many lifelong friendships. Among his closest friends were Karry and Dwayne, whose friendship spanned decades, along with numerous other friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Ken is survived by his mother, Karen; his sisters, Tamara and Kimberly; his niece, Cortney; his nephews, Benjamin, Mark, and Kenny; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, his loving wife, Alice; his son, Jeremy; brother-in-law Jonathon; extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Noel; his sister, Stephanie; his niece, Vanessa; all of his grandparents; and other beloved family members who welcomed him home.

Honoring Ken's wishes, there will be no public services. He will be laid to rest at West Hills Memorial Park in Yakima, Washington, beside his Uncle Butch and his grandparents.

Ken will be remembered for his kind heart, his quick sense of humor, his love of family and friends, his passion for mechanics and PC gaming, and his remarkable ability to remind everyone around him that no matter your age, there is always room for joy, laughter, and a little bit of the kid within.
