Kenneth Kermit Nowlin passed away on July 16, 2026 in Yakima, Washington. He was born to Kermit and Poncie Nowlin on May 28, 1945 in Yakima.
Ken graduated from Selah High School in 1965. After graduation he joined the Army and was stationed in Germany for four years. Returning home he worked in security and for several trucking companies in the valley.
He enjoyed playing games, reading L’Amour westerns, gardening and was a gifted cartoonist.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and is lovingly survived by Mary and (Jose) Sotto and their boys. Also by his sister Carole Drake, his nephew David and (Sharon) Drake, his two nieces, Robin and (Kevin) Mooney and Anne and (Mark) Chapman; and his cherished friends Shaun and Le Ann Kirk, Carol Carnahan, David Kirk and Rose Kirk, who all held a special place in his heart.
A family graveside service is planned.
