Born October 1, 1941, in Yakima, WA to Charles L. and Louisa C Utterback.
Linda and Rex Burnam eloped and got married November 16, 1960, in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. Linda graduated from Eisenhower high school in 1960.
Linda was in grade school when she was invited to vacation bible school at First Presbyterian Church (now known as Grace of Christ), this is when she met Jesus. Linda became involved through the church with a wonderful group of ladies who met weekly for almost 20 years.
Growing up in Yakima, Linda had an adventurous spirit. Her mother would dress her in red so she could be seen wherever she was. When she was in grade school she broke her leg, her sister Sue said she could really move on those crutches.
Linda was 9 when her twin brothers were born. She adored them and wanted to take care of them. She was always fond of babies even as she got older.
Linda has always liked to dress well, often raiding her sister’s closets when she was younger.
She worked for Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic in the 70’s. Later on, when her grandson was small, she ran an in-home daycare for many years, and taught preschool at the church.
Linda and Rex always liked to travel as much as they could after his retirement. They loved going to camp Ghormley where he could help with all the new buildings and projects. It was a relaxing time for him after a stressful week at work.
After Rex’s passing, Linda still was able to travel quite a bit until her health started to fail. Her grandson London was always there to help her, and she always praised him to others about how helpful he was.
She is survived by her son Christopher Burnam, daughter Cheryl (Rex) Ricard. Grandchildren London Burnham and Lucas Ricard, sisters Sue (Rich) Woodruff and Janie (Tom) Van Woerden, nephews and nieces, Steven M Renner, Jennnifer (Ed) Hagstrom, Elijah and Olivia Hagstrom, Kendel (Nick) Brown, Eric (Emily) Van Woerden, Vesper Van Woerden, Ian Forwood and Colin Utterback.
