She was born on June 8, 1966, in Everett, Washington, to Diane and Robert "Bob" Leitz. She was the fifth of six siblings in a close-knit family that moved to Selah in 1973. Growing up on the family dairy farm, Lisa and her siblings learned the values of hard work and deep family ties early on, helping her mother manage the farm while her father worked hauling materials.
Lisa graduated from Selah High School in 1985. She went on to marry on March 17, 1986, and together raised two wonderful children, Kari DeLozier and Jimmy DeLozier. Driven by a compassionate heart and a desire to help others, Lisa owned and operated a DeLozier Recovery Services in Yakima and later extended her work to Port Townsend, touching countless lives along the way.
Outside of her career, Lisa’s heart was always with her animals. Her love for dairy cows began in her youth with her cherished Holstein, Tracy, and continued later in life with her Jersey, Jada. Horses held a special place in her heart as well—she believed all horses were her friends, but her best boy, Larry, matched her feisty spirit like no other.
In 2017, Lisa met Bradley Greenwalt of Odessa, Washington. They were married on her birthday, June 8, 2018, and shared eight and a half wonderful years together. Lisa adored her life and home in Odessa, her stepchildren, her grandchildren, her animals, and her roses.
With her bright smile, deep blue eyes, and captivating personality, Lisa brought warmth wherever she went. She loved deeply, laughed often, and cared intensely for her friends and family. Her vibrant spirit and kind heart left a footprint on the lives of all who knew her, and she will be missed entirely.
Lisa was met in Heaven by her parents, Diane and Bob Leitz; her two nephews, Aaron and Bobby; as well as dear family and friends who passed before her. We take comfort in knowing she is celebrating with Jesus and being greeted by all the loved ones and animals who awaited her arrival.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Bradley Greenwalt; her siblings, Robert "Bob" and Heidi Leitz, Barbara and Douglas Button, Robin and Dennis Zerr, Joe and Leidiane Leitz, and Margie Leitz; her children, Kari DeLozier, Jimmy DeLozier and his wife, Heather; and her cherished grandchildren, Rylie Sue and Lucy Ann. She is also survived by her stepchildren and their families, many beloved nieces and nephews whom she adored, and an incredible group of friends.
