OBITUARY

Lisa Marie Macke

September 30, 1975June 9, 2019

We have lost our beautiful sweet daughter, Lisa Marie Macke. Lisa passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the age of 43. Lisa was survived by her parents, Gail Macke and Steve Macke, and her brother David Macke.

Lisa was born in Yakima on September 30, 1975. She was special in so many ways. Lisa was able to overcome a childhood illness that left her hearing impaired. She was strong, smart, confident, and determined to overcome this and all other challenges of life. She graduated from Eisenhower High School and Perry Technical Institute and became a systems analyst for the Washington State Board for Community and Technical College, Microsoft, and CenturyLink. She loved her work as it was always challenging.

Our hearts are broken and we will miss her deeply. Lisa will be remembered by her many friends and her extended family. She will be forever in our thoughts.

There will be visitation at Keith & Keith Funeral Home Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be Saturday, June 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.

Dear Steve and family: I almost wept when I read Lisa's obituary. Although I never met her I felt as if I knew her through our conversations through the years regarding her. I rejoice that now she is savoring learning to hear sounds as they really are. She is now more alive than we are, living in the real world, the spiritual world. This of course is where eventually we will all be gathered together. Although you painfully miss her now you know she is just fine. In the echoes of my mind I hear her speaking the comforting words of the Savior, "In [our] Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you." And she is. George J

I remember we were in class at IKE and something funny happened and you were laughing so hard you snorted and i thought it was the cutest thing. Rest in peace Lisa. Much love, thoughts and prayers to all who knew Lisa.

Lisa was genuinely just a rad lady, always smiling so upbeat I always appreciated that about her. Lisa always made improvements in her life, not excuses. I have nothing but respect for her. God Speed Lisa
