Lorraine Annette pauly Whitaker

Lorraine graduated valedictorian from the class of 1956 in Harlem Montana. After graduation she attended Kinman business school and Northern Montana College.

She was an awesome typist. In 1960 she married Edwin Whitaker Jr. During their marriage she had three daughters-Lisa Soper, Joanne Callahan, and Julie Christensen.

She was a legal secretary over the years and finally settled in Modesto, California. After she moved to Modesto she went to work for Gallo winery and also attended the local community college to become a paralegal. After she retired from Gallo she returned to the Yakima valley where she resided until her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Janet and Francis Pauly. She is survived by her three daughters Lisa (Kris) Soper, Joanne (John) Callahan, and Julie (John) Christensen. She is also survived by her sister Eleanor Pauly Lewis, several cousins and her adorable grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We would like to thank the staff at Garden Village for the care she has received the last 11 years. We would also like to thank Dr. Emmans for all his care and patience.

Visitation will be Friday, August 28 from 4 – 8 pm at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Paul Catholic Church on August 29, 2015 at 10:30am.

Following her cremation, she will be buried with her parents in the Grandview Cemetery.
