Louann Ramos

1938-2025

Louann Ramos, 87, of Yakima, WA went home to be with her Savior on November 6, 2025.

She was born Louann Edwards in Chehalis, WA on June 6, 1938 to Dora Phelps and Albert Edwards. She spent her childhood on the West side of Washington before moving to Yakima in her 20s, where she would raise her 3 children and meet her beloved husband, Salvador Ramos.

She worked with Sal at the courthouse for many years where they made many life long friends and great memories.

Louann cherished her time spent teaching Sunday school, riding her bike around Union Gap with her grandchildren, tending her zinnias, devouring books, painting landscapes, traveling abroad, doing crossword puzzles, fishing, and going on road trips with Sal.

Louann will be remembered as a resilient mother, doting grandmother, generous friend, and someone that chose to spread love.

Louann was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Sal, and son-in-law Ronald Rieker.

She is survived by her children Connie Rieker, David Morrison (Gina), and George Bayes (Isabelle); grandchildren David Rieker (Shaela), Adam Rieker (Jessica), Scott Morrison (Catie); and countless great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held November 19, 2025 at 2:00 at Keith and Keith funeral home.
