Lucille was born in Marsing, Idaho, but was a lifelong resident of the Yakima Valley. She graduated from Benton City High School in 1940. She worked as a book keeper for numerous businesses that have long since closed their doors, such as, Birdseye foods, 7-up Bottling, S&H Green stamps and Valley Tux Shop to name a few.
She was a devoted mother of three sons and a daughter; grandmother of eight granddaughters and four grandsons; great grandmother of nine, with many others who referred to her as “mom” or “grandma.” She always had homemade cookies waiting for them.
