Marcos Marichalar Sanchez was called home to heaven on July 14, 2020. He lived in Yakima, Washington at the time of his passing surrounded by his loving family. Marcos was born on October 7, 1945 in Welasco, Texas. As a young adult he got his GED from JM Perry and then furthered his education to become an electrician. He had worked at Hanford Nuclear Plant in Pasco, WA. for 20 plus years. He loved his work and co-workers. He was an extremely hard worker who took pride in everything that he did. He retired in 2012. All through his life he always made sure his wife and children were always taken care of. He always put others before himself. He loved to play guitar and sing with his dad and siblings every moment he could. Marcos was a religious catholic who loved the lord. Marcos is survived by his wife Irene D. Sanchez and his children, Irma V. Sanchez, Adrian D. Sanchez, Rosalie Stowe (Nathan Stowe), Marcos D. Sanchez Jr., and Sandra L. Harvey (Eric Harvey). Grandchildren Armando Valencia, Lorena I. Nateras, Derek Rowden, Dyllan Rowden, Dante Sanchez, Ireland Harvey, and Jaden Stowe. Great grandchildren Armando Valencia Jr., Julian Nateras, and Colton Rowden. Marcos is survived by his mother Leonor Sanchez and siblings Amparo Castillo, Dominga Hernandez, Guadalupe Sanchez Jr., Raul Sanchez, Diana Gomez, Yolanda Quevedo, Elisa Alejo, Leonor Negri, Rosemary Garza, and Norma Velasquez, along with their spouses. He also had many special nieces and nephews who he loved so very much. He was proceeded in death by his father Guadalupe G. Sanchez who died on January 2, 2019. Marcos touched the lives of many and will be missed by everyone who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace in paradise.
