Natividad Correa was born and raised in Mexico. Mom was fondly known to friends and family as Nati. Mom married Ernesto Castilla and came to the United States. The family worked as migrant farm workers. In the 1960's she divorced and raised the children as a single parent. Mom was strong, spiritual, generous and dedicated herself to her children. She enjoyed cooking, loved flowers and gardening, making her favorite salsa, and taking it to her friends and family. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting mom knows that she had a great sense of humor, tough and feisty. Nati had eight children, two of which died as infants.
She is survived by five sons and one daughter, two brothers and one sister; 19 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, Wednesday Sept. 26th, 2012. A funeral service will held Thursday, Sept. 27th at 11am, also at the funeral home, with burial following at Lower Valley memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA .
