Maria Josefina Lopez Ramirez

It is with deep sorrow that our dear mother, Maria Josefina Lopez Ramirez, passed away with family by her side on March 16, 2025 at the age of 72. Following a lengthy battle with breast cancer, we are comforted knowing that she is with God and loved ones in heaven.

A cherished member of our family, she leaves behind a legacy of her humility, strong spirit, and unwavering faith. Born in San Ignacio de Alvarez, Guanajuato, Mexico, she was a proud daughter of Jose Ines Lopez Camacho and Maria Luisa Ramirez Sandoval. She was known for her warm hospitality and her ability to make everyone feel welcome in her home, always serving delicious Mexican meals and sharing stories of her childhood.

A devoted mother to Patricia Lopez, Guillermo Llamas, Gabriela Cordoba, Manuel Llamas and Diane Llamas, and a cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.

A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Langevin El Paraiso Chapel, 1010 W Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA 98902. A vigil service will occur Monday, March 24, 2025 at 5:30 PM at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, 1010 W Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA 98902. A mass of christian burial will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 201 N Iler St., Moxee City, WA 98936.
