Mary A. Jennings

Mary A. Jennings, 79 went home to live with her Heavenly Father and her beloved ones who had gone before her on December 11, 2016. She was born February 12, 1937 in Shawmutt, AR to Allison Wiley Kelley and Hattie Alma Kelley (Calley).

Mary was passionate about her family, friends, gardening and decorating her home for all the holidays. She was an excellent cook and loved to prepare meals for those she loved. She worked hard all her life, even after she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Marie Box, her husband of 28 years, Arvid Gay Johnson, her husband, Robert Jennings of 23 years, her best friend, Betty Ashlock (Elkins), her beloved granddaughter, Shyla Ann Allen (Ackler) and nephew Jeffery Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Robin Johnson, of Joplin, MO, Kim Johnson of Yakima, WA, Jodie Mathews (Johnson) of Olympia, WA, Kevin Johnson, Joplin, MO. Her grandchildren Julia Johnson, Justin Farmer (Shila), Josh Ackler, Josh Allen, Amy Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, and Trista Willis, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, nieces Bev Davis and Janita Johnson, nephews Nathan Clayton, Mike Box, David Johnson, Randal Johnson and Gerald Johnson and longtime friend Marian Maybee.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at West Hills Memorial Park.
