

June was raised and educated in Cowiche, Washington. She married Robert L. Mondor on February 21, 1942 in Lewiston, Idaho. They had five children. June was an extremely hard worker. She and her husband managed a hop farm and owned a fruit orchard. June loved to cook for the many family gatherings. She showed a lot of pride in her lawn care and gardening.
June was an inspiration to her children and the strength of her family. She loved spending time with her family which included 11 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Great-Grandma, better known as “GG” always had lots of goodies at her house to share with all of them.
She is survived by her children Dolly and Jerry Busey; Judy Rose; Jody and Ron Frank; Bob and Lynda Mondor; daughter-in-law Lynn Mondor, all of Yakima; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Dale Williams of Cottonwood, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Stella Williams, her husband Robert, son Dean Mondor, brothers Russ Williams, Ray Williams, John Williams, Per Williams and Bud Williams.
The family would like to thank Rhonda Shafer, Leona Evans, Joanne Sapik, and Treva Lemon for the excellent care they provided to mom at her home.
Visitation will be 4pm to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 2nd at Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel with burial following at Tahoma Cemetery.
