Like Larry B., I have a multitude of memories of Mike from grades 1-12 and college.  Mike was the instigator of most pick-up games at Kumler Field and could be serious and competitive as well as a comedian and peacekeeper.  Cruising the Avenue on weekends would have been boring without Mike.  After high school we went on some crazy road trips to Idaho and Seattle.  I'm sad for the loss of a great friend and a fellow Creedence fan.  Keep on chooglin' Mike.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He was a dear lifelong friend. We shared McKinley Elementary, Franklin Jr. High, and Davis High schools together. We worked on our paper routes together and were fishing buddies. Many beautiful memories of neighborhood sports at Kumler Field and camping (including church camp) outings.  Distance kept us apart over the later years. I enjoyed seeing him on my trips back to Yakima.  Many thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
