Born in Yakima September 11, 1966, Monique graduated from A.C. Davis High School, class of 1984. Shortly after completing her degree at the University of Washington, she began her career in the social health services in Seattle, where she worked for the next twenty years.
In her spare time Monique enjoyed traveling to places such as Graceland and Forks with family and friends. She was an avid reader of true crime books and a movie buff who worked part time during college at the Harvard Exit Theater. Although she was a quiet person, she will be most fondly remembered by those she leaves behind as someone who was fun to be with, told great stories, and who enjoyed a good laugh.
She is survived by her mother Sandra Ramos, her father John T. Ramos, her brother Monty Ramos of New Orleans and her cousins Becki and Sandee Deel.
A memorial service will be held at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel on Friday October 14 at 11 a.m.
