It is with broken hearts, that we announce the passing of Nancy Ann Hillegeist, 58, of East Wenatchee, WA.
Nancy passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2019. She was born on February 28, 1961, to Larry and Barbara Hillegeist in Ventura, Ca. In 1991, she settled in East Wenatchee, where she raised her two children. Nancy’s passion in life was caring for others. She spent most of her work years as a school teacher, which she loved dearly. From 2004 to 2016, she provided in home foster care and she loved and treated these children as her own. Nancy spent every single day loving her children and grandson unconditionally and whole heartedly. In addition to caring for others, Nancy’s eagerness to please the Lord was unwavering. She attended Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Wenatchee, WA, for many years and was a true child of God.
Nancy’s love, kindness, and faithful heart will continue on through her children Tyler and Kylie Thorington of East Wenatchee, WA. She is also survived by her young grandson, Kashton; her mother, Barbara Hillegeist; sister, Debra Hammett; brothers: Tony, Todd, and Mike Hillegeist. She leaves us to rejoin her father, Larry Hillegeist; and brother, Jeff Hillegeist, in Heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Wenatchee, 2200 N. Baker Ave., East Wenatchee, WA.
