Orry Mychael Denson was born on October 23rd, 1995 in Prosser, WA to Lisa Adams- Powell and Michael Adams. He was brought home to meet his big sister Amber and later was given his little brother Nicolas. He attended Zillah High School where he practiced his passion for photography, playing trumpet for band and pep band, and met some of his lifelong friends.
Orry had a passion for the outdoors and animals at a young age. Between going camping with his family or hiking on his own, he always had an excuse to be in the woods, and he gained a deep respect for the provisions of nature. He loved to cook and always tried to find new vegetarian dishes to make. All of the adventures he went on growing up fed his curiosities and followed him into adulthood. When Orry wasn’t working or relaxing he was usually on the road with his girlfriend, Janessa, trying to find new rockhounding locations or camping spots. They would drive as far as time would allow and dreamt of their weekends spent on the beach and different state forests together.
Aside from all the adventure he craved, Orry especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He adored all of his cousins and his niece and took pride in seeing them grow up through the years. He always looked forward to BSing with his sister and spending time
with his older cousins. When his down time was over, Orry was a dedicated and hardworking man who liked the work he did, landscaping and being a cook, two of his favorite things, food and nature. Not to mention he was definitely known as a car guy, he was skilled in many areas and liked to help when he could, and owned a project car he dreamed to one day fully restore.
Orry is preceded in death by his papa Gary Nelson, Nona Sherry Nelson and his mother Lisa Adams- Powell.
He is survived by his father Michael Adams, brother Nicolas C. Adams, sister Amber Davis, niece Kara Brown, cousin Ashley Powell and her son Kaiden, cousin Zenea and Bill Sadler with their son baby Bill, whom he adored. On his father’s side he has his uncle Harry N. Adams and his aunts Lugene Borba, Terry Greenfeather, and Constance Schei, along with a few great aunts and uncles. On his mother’s side he has his aunt Laura Bowers and his uncles Richard Bowers and Theron Pritchard, as well as a few more great aunts and uncles.
Everyone who knew Orry is going to miss him endlessly. He had one of the sweetest hearts and felt everything greater than any of us could ever understand. There will be a missing puzzle piece to our pictures now, but the pain it brings means tremendous love was had, and that can never be forgotten or replaced. He will be carried by all of us.
A viewing will be held Wednesday January 7th, 2026 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
