

Faye was born to Howard and Helen Light on November 27, 1939 in Tulare, California. The family moved to Yakima in the Spring of 1953. Faye attended Selah High School and then graduated from West Coast Christian School in Fresno, California in 1958.
She met and married Don McCasland and they had three children. Faye later returned to Yakima to be near family.
Faye worked for 20 years at the Union Gospel Mission. Working for the Mission was one of the highlights of her life and she loved feeling she was making a difference in the lives of people who needed help.
Faye was a kind and thoughtful person and was loved by all who met her. In her own quiet way, she had a deep faith in God and felt He helped her through difficult times in her life. She taught her children to have that same faith in God.
For the last seven years she had lived at Ponderosa Retirement Center. She loved her friends and the caring Staff there.
Survivors include her children, Donna (Joel)Revilla of Yakima, Mike (Diane) McCasland, Jeff (Debbie) McCasland both of Fontana, California. Grandchildren, Aundrea (Tyler) Munson, Kayla (Luke) Kirkham, Gabrielle (Mike) Huff, Conner (Paige) Revilla all of Yakima, Lindsay (David) Williams, Matthew McCasland, Corbin McCasland, Elizabeth (Eric) Herrera, Adam McCasland, Luke McCasland, and Benjamin McCasland all of California. Great Grandchildren, Morris, Juniper, Haddie, Elsie, all of Yakima, Elijah, Ella, Evan and Jack, all of California. Her sister, Wanda (David) Lee, and her brother Rod Light, both of Yakima. She is also survived by her special Aunt Betty Light of Yakima, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen Light and her brother, Wayne Light.
The family would like to thank Ponderosa for their love and support, Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and Cottage in the Meadow.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the funeral home. A family grave side service will be held at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
