

She lived in Nebraska until February 1946 where she went to live with an uncle and aunt in California. They lived there for a month then moved to Puyallup, Washington where she met Rudolph Barber. They were married September 26, 1948. Rudolph passed away April 28, 2002.
Rudolph and Patsy had 3 sons; Charles, Richard (Julie), and Douglas. They belonged to Kent Methodist Church for many years.
Patsy was a 4th grade Sunday school teacher, and was involved in Women’s Society until she went to work for Meudian Jr. High and worked for them 10 years.
Rudy retired in 1986 and they traveled in their motor home until they bought their home in Selah, Washington. After Rudy’s passing, Patsy moved to Yakima, where she has been involved in Selah Heights Grange, Apple Rovers Wennabags Club, Happy Wanderers Camping Club, Naches Heights Women’s Club, Red Hats, Single Ladies, and Pinochle Club.
Patsy is survived by 3 sons Charles of Browns Point, WA; Richard (Julie) of Auburn, WA; Douglas of Federal Way, WA;
Two grandsons and lots of extended family and friends.
There will be a time of visitation 4-8pm, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service is planned Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Burial will be Monday, August 25th at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
